Start with their story, not a form

Most funeral program printers begin with a template and a blank box. Beautiful Obituary begins with a few gentle questions about the person: who they were, what they loved, the people who loved them. From your answers we shape their obituary in your family's voice, and set it into a finished memorial program with their photograph.

All of that is free. You can write, choose a design, see the whole program, copy the obituary and have it emailed to you without making an account or paying anything. The first thing that costs money is the print-ready file or the printed copies.

Four sizes of program

• 1-Page, one 8.5 by 11 inch sheet, printed on both sides.
• Bi-Fold, a folded program 7 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall, with a cover, an inside spread and a back.
• Tri-Fold, a three-panel program, each panel 4.66 inches wide and 8.5 inches tall.
• 8-Page Booklet, 7 by 8.5 inches, room for the full order of service, photographs and family messages.

Every design works in every size, and every design can carry the photograph you choose, with its background lifted away for you if you like.

Printed and delivered

Choose how many you need, from 25 to 250 in steps of 25, and how fast you need them. The price covers the printed copies, their delivery and the print-ready file, so there is nothing to add on. We collect the delivery address at payment. Delivery is within the United States.

Those are the prices for 25 copies with standard delivery, which is mailed and usually arrives in 1 to 5 business days. Printing takes a couple of business days first. Two-day delivery is available for a little more, and larger quantities cost less per program. The exact total, and an estimated arrival date, appear before you pay. They are estimates, not guarantees. If the service date is close, the page says so and points you to faster delivery or to the download below. Prices are plus applicable sales tax. Same-day delivery: your print-ready file is yours the moment you pay, so you can print it the same day. If you would rather print at home, at a copy shop or with a printer you already trust, download the file instead. It is made at 300 dots per inch with bleed and crop marks, ready for a print shop.

A family either downloads the file or orders the printed copies. The printed price already includes the file, so the two are never added together.

Questions people ask

Do I need an account? Not to write, design or preview. An account is made at checkout, so you can come back to your order.

Can I change it after I see it? Yes. Everything is editable until you order.

Can I order printed copies to another address? Yes. The delivery address is whatever you give at payment, within the United States.
