The short answer: printing 100 funeral programs costs about $169 for a one-page program and $239 for a bi-fold when you order them from us, delivered, with the design file included. The price depends mostly on the size of the program, then on how many you order. The figures below are our own prices; other printers will quote differently, so use them as a reference, not a market average.
What printed funeral programs cost with us
These prices include the printed copies, standard delivery by mail (1 to 5 business days in transit) and the print-ready design file. Sales tax is added where it applies.
| Program | 25 copies | 50 copies | 100 copies | 250 copies |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Page | $79 | $109 | $169 | $329 |
| Bi-Fold | $99 | $149 | $239 | $549 |
| Tri-Fold | $109 | $159 | $259 | $599 |
| 8-Page Booklet | $139 | $229 | $419 | $989 |
What that works out to per program
The more you order, the less each one costs, because the design and setup are the same whether you print 25 or 250.
| Program | 25 copies | 50 copies | 100 copies | 250 copies |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Page | $3.16 | $2.18 | $1.69 | $1.32 |
| Bi-Fold | $3.96 | $2.98 | $2.39 | $2.20 |
| Tri-Fold | $4.36 | $3.18 | $2.59 | $2.40 |
| 8-Page Booklet | $5.56 | $4.58 | $4.19 | $3.96 |
How many do you need?
Count the people you expect, then add a few extra for those who bring someone and for relatives who ask for a keepsake afterwards. A small gathering is often 25 to 50. A larger funeral or a service held in a church is commonly 100 or more. It is cheaper per program to order slightly more than to run short and reprint, and the file is kept so you can order again.
What changes the price
- The size. A single sheet costs less than a bi-fold, a tri-fold or a booklet, because there is less to print and fold.
- The quantity. Larger orders cost less per program.
- How fast it must arrive. Two-day delivery adds to the price: for 100 bi-folds it is $259 instead of $239.
- Whether you print it yourself. If you download the file and print it at home or at a local print shop, you pay for the file ($19 for a one-page program, $29 for a bi-fold or tri-fold, $39 for an 8-page booklet) plus whatever the printer charges.
Cheaper ways to do it
- Print at home for a small gathering. A one-page program on good paper is practical for a few dozen copies; the guide to printing funeral programs at home covers paper and folding.
- Download the file and take it to a local print shop. Ask for a quote on your size and quantity; where to print funeral programs compares the options.
- Start with fewer. Order what you need for the service. You can order more later.
Delivery times are estimates, and printing takes about two business days before the order ships. If the service is within a few days, take the same-day route: your print-ready file is delivered the moment you pay, and you print it locally. Never rely on an estimate for a date you cannot move.
Is the design included?
Yes. Writing the obituary, choosing a design and seeing the finished program are free, with no account. When you order printed copies, the price above covers the copies, their delivery and the file. You are not charged for the file separately.
See the design before you decide
Write the obituary and lay out the program free, then choose to download it or have copies delivered.
