John S. Testsnow taught children for her life's work, and to the people who loved her best, she was simply JJ.
She was born September 1, 1990, and grew up in Jasper, Georgia. Warm and genuine, she loved children above everything, and it showed in the classroom, day after day, year after year.
One memory holds her clearly: JJ in Hawaii, swimming, at ease in the water.
She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness, and her faith was part of everything she was. "Let love," she always said, and she meant it.
JJ leaves her great-grandchild and Maria. She joins her grandmother and Jaster, who came before her.
Remember her smile first. Everything else follows from it.
